CORE COMPETENCE MULTIMORBIDITY. MEDICAL SPECIALISATION COMBINED WITH KIND-HEARTEDNESS.

AT EVERY STAGE OF REHABILITATION, THE EMPHASIS IS ON UNDERSTANDING THE CURRENT COURSE OF THE DISEASE FROM THE ANGLE OF AGE, ACCOMPANYING DISORDERS, FUNCTIONAL CONSTRAINTS AND SOCIAL RESOURCES.

After surgery and serious illnesses patients are confronted with constraints and discomfort. Klinik Schloss Mammern offers patients from Switzerland and further afield a broad spectrum of medical care based on the latest findings.

This includes state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic offerings for cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, internal-oncological and pneumological rehabilitation.

The goal is for the patient to achieve the best possible return to health after a serious illness or surgery.

Physiotherapy and sports therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nutritional counselling and nursing care are all important components in our medical rehabilitation. Our treatment concept envisages a personalised combination of individual and group therapies.

In early rehabilitation, it is crucial to take account of the special needs of patients who are still considerably impaired by the effects of their illness and are not yet medically stable, which means that they need more intensive monitoring and care. In such cases, therapeutic measures are adapted to the patient’s more limited physical resilience and they are often carried out as one-to-one therapeutic sessions in the patient’s room. Usually, the rehabilitation phase with intensive nursing support is followed by rehabilitation that is adapted to the patient’s individual physical capabilities but also aims to expand those capabilities.

In the later stage of rehabilitation, the aim is to lay the foundation for quick recovery through interdisciplinary medical, nursing and therapeutic measures. Rehabilitation both activates and cultivates the patient’s internal resources. The goal is to discharge the patient to live an independent, active life as soon as possible. After serious illness or surgery, we help them achieve the best possible return to health.
